Hi, i'm Matthew Laddiman



As a personal trainer, I specialise in working with parents and busy professionals who struggle to find time for exercise. With just two workouts per week, you can successfully achieve your health, fitness, and body composition goals. As a coach, I see one size one fits all approaches to exercise get promoted constantly and I’m not happy about it. Everyone is unique and you should always have a personalised workout plan tailored to your specific needs.
From my late teen's to late 20's I used to believe the more days you trained and the more volume you do, the more muscle you will grow. I was wrong! Overtime that caught up with me and I struggled to make continuous progress in the gym and felt run down more often than not. I see many people make the same mistakes and go to the gym nearly everyday and they have little to show for it. Now I've studied and am a certified Personal Trainer, I understand how everyone can achieve great results in the gym without wasting precious time.
I have made it my mission to help you achieve your goals training in as little as two workouts a week. My goal is to create a training plan that fits you like a tailored suit.
What is it like to work with me? I train clients 2-4 times a week depending on their lifestyle, recovery ability, gym experience and what sort of training splits they enjoy. I personalise plans for people at any age. Every plan is has great attention to detail. Whether your main reason for training is weight loss/fat loss, to build lean muscle, improve your running performance or bodybuilding, I've got you covered!

Matthew's Journey
Hi, I'm Matthew Laddiman from Norwich in the UK. I'm a certified personal trainer.
In my late teens and 20s I believed that you had to train at least five/six days a week and eat 6/8 small meals a day to have any chance of building a decent physique. When I got Covid in 2020 working as a hospital porter, I was diagnosed with IBS and a few months later Long Covid. I was very ill for 2 years and lost lots of muscle, put on weight and had to leave my NHS job due to continuous sickness from IBS, long Covid and mental health issues. After a few months break from working, I started to feel better. I had been eating a very healthy diet and had the confidence to start working out at a gym again. I had a casual conversation with a gym manager and he said “Have you thought about becoming a personal trainer in the future? You are very knowledgeable about weight training and nutrition”. I replied, “Thanks for the compliment! I’d love to do it but I’m not sure if my health will allow me to do it. I will have a look online at some courses and then make a decision”. That day has changed my life in many positive ways. I’m now a certified personal trainer, corporate gym manager at Royal Mail in Norwich helping postal workers be healthier, fitter and stronger. My mental health is also a lot better, I have more energy to do daily tasks and I’m in the best shape of my life since my early 20’s.
Now I only train 2-3 times a week instead of 5-6 days a week and have more time to spend on other important aspects of life such as meeting up with family/friends, building my business and overall health and wellbeing. Suffering with health issues has made me appreciate life more and determined to help you get in great shape mentally and physically.
